The 2013 Six Nations Rugby Championship promises to be a hugely competitive affair. Players from the four home unions – England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales – will have one eye on the Lions Tour in the summer, so they will be trying hard to stand out. The French will want to recover from a poor 2012 campaign which saw them finish in fourth position. The Italians will be keen to show signs of progress after only narrowly avoiding the Six Nations wooden spoon last season.
