Six Nations Championship 2005 Results
The 2005 Six Nations results saw a real shock with Wales taking the title going unbeaten their five matches and results which many people did not expect but they played a really flowing game which was reminiscent of their great years in the 70s. The fact that they beat France in Paris demonstrated that this was a Six Nations win that was no fluke and they followed that up with brilliant Rugby against England and Ireland at the Millennium Stadium.
France once again proved their worth in the tournament with the match against Wales as in effect the title decider. Ireland also performed with credit but once again England was still suffering their hangover from the 2003 Rugby World Cup victory and once again Italy picked up the wooden spoon.
