Now this is real stadium Croke park is the home of Gaelic football in Ireland and who can forget the first ever Rugby match at this venue when Ireland played England in a game that brought tears to grown men as many felt they would never see Rugby played at this ground with all the history behind it, just shows have far Ireland has come in recent times.

But Lansdowne Road will return as the home of Irish Six Nations Rugby when it is rebuilt as the location for the south side fan base is what makes Irish Rugby so special.

Croke Park is situated in north Dublin between Drumcondra and Ballybough and is bordered by Jones's Road to the west, Clonliffe Road to the north, St. James Avenue to the east and the Royal Canal to the south.

Bus, Rail, DART and LUAS can all bring you to less than a 15 minute walk from the ground. Croke Park is situated in a residential area with only limited parking available on match days and it is best not to drive anywhere near this area on match days.


Ireland Six Nations Championship Fixtures

Ireland will play three of their Six Nations fixtures at Croke Park in 2008, starting with the visit of Italy in the opening match on the 2nd February. Their second game at this 6Nations Venue is Scotland and the final game is against Wales on the 23rd February.
