Wales sealed the Triple Crown in style by seeing off Ireland at Croke park. Warren Gatland's men secured victory and kept their Grand Slam dreams alive, needing only to defeat France in the final match to secure a perfect tournament.

Despite Ronan O'Gara's kicks giving Ireland a 6-3 half time lead, Wales rallied to put Ireland to the sword in the second half.

Shane Williams's record 40th test try put the Welsh ahead before Ireland closed to within a point. However, a late penalty from Jones secured the win for Wales and their first Triple Corwn sicne 2005.
