France beat Italy 25 - 13 and kept their Six Nations title hopes alive, however, the margin of victory means that Wales are favourites to win the tournament.

France lead at half time thanks to a try from Anthony Floch. In the second half, Yannick Yauzion extended France's lead before Martin Castrogiovanni reduced the deficit for Italy. However, a try from Aurelien Rougerie made the game safe for France later on.
